Background and Testimonies
Allan and Jenny Lemke not only perform plays that convey the message of the Gospel while expressing an evangelistic view point, they also minister through their testimonies and pray for the people's needs as well. They have performed /ministered in churches and other venues in over 23 states (including D.C.), for over 19 years and have traveled from coast to coast, as well as Canada and Mexico City. They have two grown children, Justin and Emily who live in Central Oregon..
Director Allan Lemke has worked professionally for the Guthrie2 Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has performed throughout the Midwest with the Colorful Company of Theatricals for Christ and as founding director of Iowa Christian Theater. His performing and directing credits also include a number of Shakespearean productions, as well as more modern works. Lemke says. "Christian drama is a great tool for relating the Gospel in a world that needs hope."
Jenny Lemke was called into Christian drama in 1983. Her testimony relates how the Lord healed her emotional scars from traumatic circumstances. She tells how through the Lord and His forgiveness, life can be totally changed and be on the course to which He has called us. Jenny has prayed for scores of women to receive healing from their past hurts as well as for physical healing. "We need to be open to receive all that God has for us so we can more effectively help others, move into the future and be the strong person God wants us to be." She is available to give her testimony for women's conferences and other groups.
Other ministries Jenny has worked for include CBN (700 Club) Calif. Counseling Center, Christian Parenting Magazine, Multnomah Publishers, WaterBrook Press & Loyal Publishing.
